Abersoch can offer some of the most varied and exciting windsurfing and sailing in the UK with a variety of conditions all within a few miles of each other due to various locations around the bays.
When the wind increases you will discover the bay an ideal arena for fun sailing with plenty of other sailors to race against. There is more than enough space for rigging gear up, however Abersoch is a venue used for some International and World Sailing Events and the beach can become crowded during these times.
For the adventurous wave sailors you can move onto Hell’s Mouth or Porth Neigwl these areas offer some serious sailing. Hell’s Mouth faces South West and picks up any any decent ground swell from the Irish Sea. It is best sailed on a South East or North West.
Due to Abersoch sitting on a peninsula with many different facing beaches you can always find the conditions which suit your ability best.
