Sea fishing around the peninsula by shore
The quality of shore fishing found at many venues around the LLyn is legendary. For example, on the Llyn you will have the option of spinning, float fishing or bottom fishing from the rocks or, if conditions are suitable, fishing the surf, especially for bass on one of the country's most famous and spectacular storm beaches, Porth Neigwl (Hell's Mouth). The headland at Morfa Nefyn, on the north coast of the Llyn, is a highly rated rock mark. It produces an astonishing variety of fish, including some very big wrasse, bull huss and pollack. All the local estuaries fish well, for bass, mullet and flat fish and fly fishing for bass is becoming increasingly popular for in the area.
